about me

I learn via exploration, so I have traveled the world and across a wide swath of subject matter terrain. For example, I spent 4 months in Nepal where I studied Buddhism for 1 month at a monastery in Kathmandu, and React for 3 months in a cozy mountain lakeside town. My roots have been set down in Denmark.

Whenever I find something I love, my mind begins creating fun ways to learn about it. As a proud auntie, a former web development manager, a graduate of a video game design university program, and over 500 hours of yoga teaching experience, I pull on different experiences to craft teachable moments.

Interaction and web development have been the meat and potatoes of my career, and my way of thinking has been shaped by a programming mindset. I grew up fascinated by video games and have always wanted to use technology to create the experiences I have found so rewarding.

Throw me a problem and I’ll solve it. I’ve conquered a huge breadth of skills because of this ability, which has given me a wide range of options for a deep dive. I am a “T-shaped” developer, with many skills to pull from, and specializing in JavaScript frameworks, learning design, and UX.
